This page explains how to delete your Sheetmancer account and the data attached to it.
Sheetmancer is published by McCullough Development, Inc. (d/b/a DigiRune Studios), Beaufort,

The short version. You can delete your account from inside the app in about ten seconds, and
you don't need this page to do it. If you no longer have the app installed — or you'd simply rather we
did it — email Will@DigiRuneStudios.com
from the address you signed in with and we'll take care of it.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself, in the app
Open Sheetmancer.
On the Home screen, tap the green account pill at the top (it reads “Signed in”).
Choose Delete account.
Read the warning, then confirm with Delete my account.
You may be asked to sign in once more first. That is a security step required by our sign-in provider, so
that nobody who picks up your unlocked phone can delete your account. It takes a second and then the deletion
runs on its own.
Option 2 — Ask us to delete it
You do not need to reinstall the app. Email us and we will do it for you:
Subject: Delete my Sheetmancer account
Send it from the same email address you used to sign in (your Apple or Google account address).
That is how we confirm the request is really yours — we will not act on a request we cannot match to an
account.
If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, send the request from that relay address
(it looks like something@privaterelay.appleid.com) and it will reach us
just the same.
How long it takes. We aim to complete deletion requests within a few days, and in every
case within 30 days of receiving the request. We will reply to confirm when it is done.

Your account and sign-in identity

Your cloud copy of every character, including retired ones, and your theme preference
Your scan records on our scanning service — the count of scans used, your access entry, rate-limit counters, and any cached scan result
Characters saved on your own device stay on your device. This is deliberate, so that
deleting your account does not wipe work you still want. To remove those too, delete each character in the
app, or uninstall Sheetmancer / clear its data.
A small deletion record containing only your former account's internal ID and the date.
It carries no personal information and exists so a device that is still signed in elsewhere cannot quietly
re-create the account you just deleted.
Your purchase history is held by Apple or Google, not by us, and only they can remove it.
Please note: deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Any character scans you have
purchased and not yet used are forfeited — they are tied to the account, and creating a new
account does not restore them. If you only want to stop syncing, use Sign out instead; that
leaves your account and your characters intact.
Photographs of your character sheets
The photos you scan are never stored in your account. They are sent once to our AI provider only to read the
text on them, are never used to train any AI model, and are deleted from that provider's systems after a short
retention period. There is nothing left of them for an account deletion to remove. This is described in more
detail in the Privacy Policy.
If you signed in with Apple
Deleting your account removes it from Sheetmancer. Separately, iOS keeps its own list of the apps you have
used Sign in with Apple for, and you can clear Sheetmancer from that list yourself at any time:
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your name at the top, then Sign in with Apple.
Tap Sheetmancer, then Stop using Apple Account.
